![]() I loved every stop, but the first stop with the vermouth tasting was my favorite (i have never enjoyed vermouth, but this! THIS! OMG, regrets that we did not buy some). Despite no sleep for 24+ hours, we were eager to see, taste, and learn more. We were *exhausted* to say the least, but this tour was amazing! Our guide, Mick, was very friendly, welcoming, funny, super knowledgeable and all around just like - loving his job! When someone loves their job, it shows in their work, and in this case, it shows in our experience! We were treated to delicious foods and how those 'classic' foods are a representation of the history of the area. I booked it thinking it would help keep us up and moving, fed, and entertained so we would not fall asleep too early succumbed to the jet lag. My husband and I took this tour on Jafter arriving in Barcelona from Philadelphia that same day. Also will evaluate is I'm likely to enjoy the food much. I might try Devour again but will inquire about the amount of alcohol I am paying for in the morning for my 16 year old. Restaurants and bars in the area to try, appreciate that help from a local! Was very helpful to get suggestions of good Much prefer food tours in Italy, Belgium, France where I like the food a bit more. ![]() I don't care for the food scene or cuisine in Barcelona so some was lost on me, it seems like a lot of fried & bar food, seafood, paella much of it repeated. ![]() ![]() Would have preferred less booze and a lower price or option for no booze. There was more alcohol then I'd prefer, the price of this tour includes lots of booze, more than I've had with any other company. Options were well chosen for the locale, quantity on par with other food tour companies. Enjoyed our guide, Jordi, and his education use on history of catalunya and cuisine in Barcelona. ![]()
